Introduction It's New York City, big city/a dream, where everything in New York ain't always what it seems. And amidst the blinding lights and the relentless hum of voices from club-goers pressed against the doors of a packed venue, the stage was set for an inevitable clash. It was a conflict destined to explode between me and the man known by many names: Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, Puffy, Sean Combs. This wasn’t just any confrontation; it was a collision course set in the high-stakes world of entertainment. Back in the tempestuous mid-90s, Diddy, then known as Puff Daddy (or Puff), and I were embroiled in a moment of raw tension. It came to a head one night when I was leaving a bustling nightclub. As I crossed the street to my Jeep, my 3 friends in tow, Puffy pulled up beside us; he was on the passenger's side of a convertible sports car. His bodyguard was driving. What started with him saying "What's up, Bitch" quickly spiraled into something more sinister as we realized he wasn’t alone; he had his "wolves" in the cars that were behind him; nothing but a mob ready to escalate the situation. This book is my emancipation from a past that has long weighed heavy on me. It’s a raw, unfiltered look at a figure who has dominated the entertainment industry. Through my eyes, you’ll see the hidden facets of power plays, the unspoken rules of the game, and the heavy price of fame, particularly in the world of Black entertainment. And then there are the stories – the allegations against Puffy, of dangling someone off a ledge, of blowing up an entertainer's car-- violence, yall. And, is everyone lying ? The women, the men, and me? Or is there a truth that his music, his charisma, and his media presence have conveniently masked his provoking trouble? His fans can't possibly know that he has a hard-on for belittling others, especially when he's insulated and protected. I stand alone in my truth, unswayed by institutions, brands, or media narratives. My life is not contingent on settlements or altering his trajectory. This is about laying down my story, unapologetically and candidly. In this memoir, you'll unravel the complexities of fame and learn the importance of standing up against intimidation and bullying, in all its forms. This is more than a story of a personal feud. It's a window into the relentless world of the music industry, where fame, rivalry, and the line between success and death are razor-thin.
